We provide custom design and manufacturing of electronic instruments and automated systems for biological and scientific research. Systems can be developed for specialized applications where suitable commercial equipment is unavailable, too expensive, or does not meet specific research requirements.

Our designs emphasize an open-source approach, using widely available electronic components, common sensors, and proven interface circuits whenever possible. Many systems are based on the Arduino programming environment, making them easier for researchers to understand, modify, maintain, and expand for future experiments.

Custom systems can incorporate data acquisition, measurement, monitoring, control, and simple automation. Applications can include measurement and recording of temperature, humidity, light, movement, position, vibration, force, sound, and images, as well as many other physical and environmental variables.
